I have hunted with NEMO twice now and had a great hunt both times. Great guys with great attitudes who are expert hunters. I have always seen lots of "unpressured" deer and turkeys. These guys know their property and how to hunt it. They never put me in a stand when the wind or conditions weren't right. The lodge is definitly one of the nicer ones I have hunted out of, and I never went to bed hungry! I will be hunting with them again and I recommend them highly. -Michael Ryal, MI



Lewis Lodge is like home to me! I have hunted in several other states for whitetails, and I am returning for my seventh hunt this fall. The properties, the service, the lodge, the food, and most of all the people! Second to none! I have seen 180's, scores on a 153, and taken two others with a bow and gun. For a total value experience I believe they are tough to beat. My son is going with me this year, and what is there better to look forward to than that. I chose NEMO for my first out of state whitetail archery after seeing trail camera pictures as well as harvest pictures. Dave helped to put me on my first Trophy Class buck ever and I killed on the first night after passing on another good shooter buck. The result of my 10 yard shot left me with a memory I will never forget. What I liked about NEMO was the way the staff accommodates any of your needs or wants from the first day to the last. You will feel like family and leave friends. I found this experience to be a lot of fun whether I was hunting or relaxing at the lodge. The simple experience of seeing the largest bucks I have ever laid eyes on surely make me want to return again. Had a great time, the setup and operation these guys run is AWESOME. Quality of deer and land is amazing. Saw several good bucks including a booner. Atmosphere around the lodge is second to none and the food is off the chain. I passed on a shooter buck the first day and had a few more opportunities throughout the week. I went home empty, and returned a couple weeks later only to shoot the same buck I passed day one. Always shoot the first good buck you see. I am hooked and will return. -Zach Hill, MI

These guys put in the time, know their properties, know their deer herd and will likely tell you what deer you will kill as happened to me in 2019. I was only in stand 5 hours on my first evening when I shot a mid 140 class buck after seeing countless other deer including other shooter bucks. I have hunted my whole life from Michigan to the midwest as well as owning my own property and small outfitting business in Pike County, IL so I have seen it all. I Thought...Then I came to NEMO and honestly I seen more deer, more mature shooter bucks, and had more opportunities than I ever thought possible. After killing a giant 8 point on day 3 I was able to ride around and see different properties and take part in the daily operations and I am telling you these guys put in 110% all day and all night. We just wanted to reach out and say THANK YOU.  As we approach 2025 two things I know is true.  Our archery hunt this year, yet tough was one of our biggest highlights of the 2024 year!  We looked so forward to the season since we left there in 2023 with my first wall hanger of my life. Although the weather proved to be a formidable opponent we left there knowing that everyone there gave 100% to attempt my wife and I to achieve our goals.  Every day the weather provided challenges that your staff paid attention to and adapted to in order to give us the best hunt possible!  We made the drive back home with great stories of people we met and hunts we experienced.  With that being said the second thing I know for sure is our calendar is anxiously being checked in anticipation of our booked archery hunt in 2025 and we are even considering adding your rifle hunt to our agenda!  -Patrick Nicholas, MI


NEMO provides the whole package hunting experience! The lodge is cozy and welcoming with terrific food, and a private bathroom for ladies. They give you a rundown of how things will work for the week and clear expectations so you feel comfortable even if you are new to hunting. Your guide takes you right to your stand on day one and comes to get you at the end of the day if you desire. Dave really worked hard to ensure I had a great experience and every opportunity to be on deer despite poor weather and wind conditions. Niki was a fantastic cook and an absolute sweetheart! I've had the pleasure of rifle hunting with Nemo the last 2 falls... I've tried other outfitters in Missouri but none have had the quality set up like I experienced at Nemo! Dave and the crew put 200% into running what I would call the best hunting experience in Missouri. Their attention to detail is awesome...their stands , the way they study deer movement, and how they operate their lodge is very impressive! Their guides are the best in the business and they strive to make your hunt the best experience possible! Dave's wife Niki stepped up this year and took on the role of camp chef, and she did amazing, as it is not an easy job keeping 20+ people fed. From the minute you arrive at NEMO you will feel welcomed and part of the family! I have had the incredible pleasure of hunting with Dave and his magnificent crew of guides for the past 5 seasons. These guys absolutely work their tails off for each and every hunter that enters  camp. Wind direction, food source, stand location, entrance and exit strategies, latest game camera intel, no detail is overlooked when placing a hunter into their stand. Their ultimate goal is without a doubt to give us hunters the best opportunity to get in front of a mature whitetail Northeast Missouri is well known for.

We as hunters also need to do our best in preparation for hunting with them. A positive mindset goes a long way. We need to make sure our equipment is in top working order. Show up with the correct clothing for whatever Mother Nature throws at us. Be mentally and physically ready to put in all day sits to greatly increase our chances of seeing and potentially harvesting the buck of our dreams. Be adaptive to changes and be trusting of our guides plan for our hunting trip! We must remember that we are hunting 100% wild and fair chase animals.
When the day is over and you return to camp you will be treated to a spectacular home cooked meal. Mrs. Niki will make sure you are well fed and don't go to bed hungry after your day in the stand!!!! She even makes wonderful snack bags up for us to take to our stands with our lunch!!!!
The lodge is warm and welcoming. Comfortable beds to get a great nights sleep, hot showers to clean up, clean rest rooms, and a great community area to conversant with others,  watch a game or hunting show, and to wind down after the days adventure.
